Rooms have been booked at The Royal King's Arms Hotel, 75 Market St. Lancaster, LA1 1HP "Day" visitors will be most welcome, of course! The Hotel is in the centre of Lancaster, very close to the railway station and shopping areas. The city has many attractions including Lancaster Castle (across the road from the Hotel), the City Museum and the Maritime Museum. Secure parking is available on the Hotel premises. A deposit of £20.00 per head is required, made payable to the Royal Kings Arms Hotel and should be sent to Andrew Brooks at the address below, and not directly to the hotel, please. Inevitably space is limited, so please return your pro-forma as soon as possible. Sunday Lunch will be available at approximately £15.00, and an indication as to whether you may be interested would be appreciated. A visit has been arranged to the Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regimental Museum (Saturday pm). The curator will display postal history material from the 19th century to the present day. Other places to visit within a short drive or bus journey include Carnforth Railway Museum, the seaside town of Morecambe and the scenic Lune valley. The Lake District can be reached by car within thirty minutes.
